Heads up all you stout lovers, Guinness Malaysia just marked the launch of its latest addition called Guinness Bright. 'Brewed for the bright', Guinness' latest drink made its splashing local debut last night in a glitzy launch party held in The Quad @ TREC.
Available only in Malaysia currently, Guinness Bright sports a vibrant new label design with a unique turquoiseЊжhue that sets it apart from the marque's classic black & gold outlook that we're all familiar with.
This snazzy new look, sees Guinness Bright being aimed squarely at the younger-aged crowd who likely have not tried the classic Irish stout prior. It even has a new taste to match with thanks to a recipe inspired by the rising trend of craft beers and ciders.
According to the renowned Irish stout brand's Malaysian brewing arm Heineken Malaysia Berhad, Guinness Bright features the infusion of coffee, ginger and lemongrass extracts amongst its ingredients. This promises a fresher and much smoother stout with an Alcohol by Volume (AbV) rating of 4.5%.
The result is a milder yet creamy new brew thatду»s less bitter with a sweeter end-game compared to the original black stuff according to several tasters. This should allow Guinness to easily tap into the current new wave of youths indeed.
The new Guinness Bright will hit retail shelves and bars nationwide starting this week in both 320ml can and 325ml bottle forms. The recommended retail prices are:
|325ml bottle||320ml can|
|RM9.50 (refreshment) RM19.50 (modern on-trade)||RM8.80 (off-trade)|
To get your first taste of the new Guinness Bright, you can getЊжyourself an ice-cold free sample by visiting the Guinness Bright Bar at The Quad @ TREC throughout this weekend until May 20 (Sunday).
The great folks from Guinness Malaysia will be issuing free samples of the new Guinness Bright for curious drinkers to try out from 9pm onwards during the stated dates while stocks lasts.
