Selected for its privileged location in the upper, northeast Maipo Valley, the El Recurso (Resource) Block is a part of the El Recurso Estate. Once part of a river-bed, its alluvial soil with a loam texture, medium fertility and the presence of small, round rocks contribute to the wines impressive colour, marked intensity and aromatic typicity. With the area´s Mediterranean climate creating slightly lower temperatures than the rest of valley and very dry summers, there is endless potential for Cabernet Sauvignon vines here.
